Invitation and Registration Form for the 8th PPA Annual Public Forum

In fulfilment of section 3(s) of the Public Procurement Act, 2003, (Act 663), the Public Procurement Authority respectively invites you to its 8th, Annual Public Forum.

Date: Thursday, 13th October, 2016
Time: 9:00am - 12:30pm
Venue: Kempinski Hotel
Theme: "Act 914: Transitioning into a vibrant Public Procurement System in Ghana".

This year's forum will center on the sensitization on the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act 914) with special emphasis on approval threshold, the new procurement structures and re-categorization of entities.

The forum will create an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues on the implementation of the provisions in the Amended Act.

Each Institution is expected to nominate three (3) officials as follows:

1. Head of Entity
2. A member of the Entity Tender Committee and
3. Procurement Officer/ Official who performs the procurement function at a fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 1,000.00) per participant.

Kindly complete the attached registration form and submit it to the Public Procurement Authority on or before 30th August, 2016. Payment should be made in the name of the Authority.

Please note that the first one hundred participants who pay earlier will be given three (3) yards of the Authority's Corporate Cloth. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
