Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), Ghana Project Measures: The increasing use of the electric and electronic devices presents a massive challenge since, after use, these devices turn into toxic electric and electronic waste (e-waste). The Ghanaian-German Financial Cooperation is supporting Ghanaian partners to set up an incentive mechanism for sound recycling of e-waste as well as the construction and operation of a so called "Handover Center" (HOC) serving as the logistical basis for acceptance and storage of the purchased e-wastes. The implementation of the project will be supported by an international consultant (the Consultant) whose procurement is the subject of this tender. Requested Services: The Consultant's main tasks comprise: 1. Support the project management in such areas as day to day programme implementation, manual of procedures, operational and financial planning and monitoring, reporting etc. 2. Assist in the set-up and operation of the Handover Center (HOC) 3. Propose, test, revise and apply procedures for the purchasing of r-waste fractions, and for the tendering of accumulated e-waste fractions 4. Identify and assess options for financing the measures 5. Conduct market surveys and monitor implementation of the environmental and social management plan

Supply, Installation, Configuration, Integration And Development Of Asset Tagging And Tracking Solution For Bank Of Ghana.
The Bank of Ghana (hereinafter referred to as the "Bank") desires to purchase a software solution that leverages the benefits of the latest asset tagging and tracking technology including passive RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) with the purpose of tracking easily movable assets and QR Code for other assets in its offices and designated residences throughout the Country.

The Bank now invites Applications for Pre-qualification for the SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION, INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF ASSET TAGGING AND TRACKING SOLUTION FOR BANK OF GHANA.

A complete set of the pre-qualification document may be downloaded from the Bank of Ghana website www.bog.gov.gh or a copy collected from the Estate and Projects Department during the working hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm.


The main objective of the Request for Proposal for Pre-qualification is to provide among others:

• A fixed Asset Inventory Solution which shall support the classification, asset tagging process, inventory policy;

• Provide usable management information including functionality and reporting capabilities sufficient to control the acquisitions and disposition of assets, movement of those assets within the Bank and establish accountability for any loss;

• To ensure effective asset auditing and location identification of individual assets; and

• To prevent non-existing assets as well as accounting for boarded or retired assets

The Bank will issue Tender Documents to those Pre-Qualified tenderers that demonstrate sufficient capacity to implement the Works. It is expected that Invitations for Tenders for the Supply, Installation, Configuration, Integration and Development of Asset Tagging and Tracking Solution for Bank of Ghana will be issued to the pre-qualified firms to submit quotations.

Supply, Installation And Implementation Of A Comprehensive National Digital Property Addressing System Linked With Post Codes.

INTRODUCTION
The Ghana Post Company Limited invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers/Firms for the procurement of a National Digital Addressing System linked with Postal Codes. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in The Public Procurement Act, 2003 and Public Procurement (Amendment) Act 2016 in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Act of the Republic Ghana.

BACKGROUND
Ghana Post Company Limited has received financing from the Government of Ghana toward the cost of implementing a comprehensive National Property Addressing System (NDPAS PROJECT), and intends to apply part of the budgetary allocation for the development, installation, implementation and deployment of a Geographical Information System (GIS) based Property Addressing System linked with Post Codes.

Objectives of the Assignment
The objective of this assignment is to create a single database of unique identification number for every property and portion of land in the country. This unique identification number will be used by every agency in the country to speed up door to door parcel and document delivery, improve business efficiency related to land administration and management, and establish a unique addressing system that is easy to remember and communicate.

Specific Objectives
1. Select and adopt a fully developed digital addressing system linked with postal codes.
The System generated addresses will be used in registering for the National ID
2. Conduct a Media campaign to help the public be aware of their new digital address.
3. Collaborate with MMDAs and critical stakeholders on the new addressing scheme

SUBMISSION
The Company now invites eligible suppliers to indicate their interest. Interested suppliers should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to undertake this project.

The shortlisting criteria are
(1) Core business and number of years in business over Ten (10) years
(2) Technical and managerial organization (organizational structure well defined and explained with organogram)
(3) Availability of appropriate skills among staff (experience in the task as defined)
(4) Experience in similar assignment and have a fully developed system covering all of Ghana.
(5) Experience with integrating postcodes into similar systems
(6) Experience in working in similar conditions and environment.
(7) Experience in nationwide outreach campaign for adoption of a system

Design, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of 50 km, 161kV HVAC Over Head Transmission Line with OPGW from Volta — Achimota - Mallam and from 161 kV Kumasi Substation (K1BSP) — 161 kV Anwomaso Substation (K2BSP).

The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has received a loan from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) towards the cost of the construction of the 330kV Kumasi-Bolgatanga Transmission Line Project as part of the WAPP Inter-zonal Hub Transmission Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the Credit Facility for eligible payments under the contracts for the Re-construction and Commissioning of the Transmission Lines from Volta (Tema)-Achimota-Mallam in the Greater Accra Region and 161 kV Kumasi Substation (K1BSP) to 161 kV Anwomaso Substation (K2BSP) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana as well as associated Substations termination Works.

The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) therefore intends to prequalify contractors/or firms for the transmission line works for the execution of the Project.

The Project will be tendered as three (3) transmission line lots and contracts awarded separately or in multiples based on the most economic consideration as indicated below:

• VTR1-1: Construction of 26 km 161 kV transmission line from Achimota to Volta
• VTR1-2: Construction of 12 km 161 kV Achimota to Mallam Transmission Line
• VTR1-3: Construction of 12 km 161 kV K1BSP — K2BSP Transmission Line

The works required under the Project will involve decommissioning of the existing transmission line:

• Reconstruction of 26 km of two (2no.) single circuit 161 kV lines between Volta-Achimota Substation with 161 kV TERN double circuit line
• Reconstruction of 12km single conductor double circuit 161kV line between the Achimota-Mallam Substations with
• Reconstruction of the existing 12km of single circuit 161kV line between the 161 kV Kumasi Substation (K1BSP) and 161 kV Anwomaso Substation (K2BSP) with a 161kV double circuit line using twin bundle TERN conductors.

The Works shall include all relevant designs, procurement, installation and commissioning of 161 kV HVAC Overhead Transmission Line as well as all associated surveys, engineering, civil works and relevant substation termination works. The new lines would be constructed within the existing ROW. The works involves the replacement of the existing towers with suitably designed lattice towers to carry twin bundle TERN conductors as well as OPGW and Alumoweld Shieldwire.

It should be noted that the 161 kV Transmission Lines project works will be spread over 12 month and construction of all the lots will run concurrently.
