Latest Common User Item Price List, April 2017, posted to PPA website

  The Public Procurement Authority (PPA) is required by Section 3(p) of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (act 663) to “maintain a database of Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and a record of prices to assist in the work of procurement entities. In fulfillment of this mandate, PPA collated a list of items procured by Entities. This list known as the Common User Items was published first in March 2010. The PPA has updated the list of Common User Items with prices as at APRIL 2017. These prices are meant to be indicative prices and do not serve as the mandatory prices that the items should be purchased at. Procuring Entities are encouraged to make reference to this list when preparing procurement Plans and during tender evaluation to ensure that realistic prices are being offered. Invitation and Registration Form for the 8th PPA Annual Public Forum

  In fulfilment of section 3(s) of the Public Procurement Act, 2003, (Act 663), the Public Procurement Authority respectively invites you to its 8th, Annual Public Forum. Date: Thursday, 13th October, 2016 Time: 9:00am - 12:30pm Venue: Kempinski Hotel Theme: "Act 914: Transitioning into a vibrant Public Procurement System in Ghana". This year's forum will center on the sensitization on the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act 914) with special emphasis on approval threshold, the new procurement structures and re-categorization of entities. The forum will create an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues on the implementation of the provisions in the Amended Act. Each Institution is expected to nominate three (3) officials as follows: 1. Head of Entity 2. A member of the Entity Tender Committee and 3. Procurement Officer/ Official who performs the procurement function at a fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 1,000.00) per participant. Kindly complete the attached registration form and submit it to the Public Procurement Authority on or before 30th August, 2016. Payment should be made in the name of the Authority. Please note that the first one hundred participants who pay earlier will be given three (3) yards of the Authority's Corporate Cloth. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. MINISTRY OF FINANCE: GHANA PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PROJECT - Expression of Interest Requests

  The Government of Ghana, acting through the Public Investment Division (PID) of the Ministry of Finance (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (hereinafter called “Financier”) toward the cost of the Ghana Public Private Partnership Project (PPP). The prime objective of the first phase of the project is to improve the legislative, institutional, financial, fiduciary and technical framework to generate a pipeline of bankable PPP projects. This phase is to build capacity to facilitate private sector participation through legal, regulatory and institutional developments and financing of project appraisal and transaction advisory services. The project has three components which are: Institutional, Fiduciary, Legislative and Financing Capacity Building for PPPs; PPP Pipeline Preparation and Transaction Advisory Support; and Project Management and Monitoring and Evaluation. The second phase of the project will be triggered with the establishment of a credible and reliable enabling environment and also with the development of a soundly-appraised pipeline of robust projects for PPP financing. The Ministry has issues four expression of Interest Requests: 1. CONSULTING SERVICES FOR “JUST-IN-TIME” SUPPORT TO PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PROJECT 2. CONSULTING SERVICES FOR AUDITING OF PPP PROJECT ACCOUNTS 3. INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SERVICES: INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SERVICES 4. INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SERVICES:PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
