EOI Description:
Background:
The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly intends to invite Technical Service Providers on two stage tendering process to first submit their proposals and strategies to educate, provide bins, collect waste and charge individual households in the Urban Towns of the Akuapem North Municipality, after which Request For Technical and Financial Proposal will be sent to the selected Consultants for further processes.
Objectives:
The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly want to improve Sanitation situation in the Municipality and abolish open air dumping of refuse by legislation and compulsory ownership of waste collection bins in the urban communities in the Municipality.
Scope of work
The prospective Technical Service Provider shall perform the following functions:
? To educate the public about Sanitation
? To sensitize the Public about the new Domestic refuse collection policy
? To provide free waste bins to every households in the urban communities
? To collect the waste of every households to the dumping site
? To charge a reasonable fee of every households
Deliverables:
In the performance of this assignment, the Assembly will demand a timely report, achievement and a way forward from the selected Service Provider.

The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly now invites eligible Service Providers to indicate their interest and strategies in performing the service.
Interested Service Provider should provide information demonstrating that they have required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the service
Service Providers will be selected in accordance with procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act 2003, Act 663 as amended 2016, Act 914. (Providing past experience may be an advantage)

Interested Service Providers should submit expression of interest and indicate strategies to perform the service at the address below from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Expression of interest may be delivered to the address below on or before 9th July, 2018
4. To be eligible to perform the assignment, the prospective Service Providers should have the following documents:
a. Valid Company Registration Certificate
b. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
c. Valid Vat Registration Certificate
d. Valid SSNIT Certificate
e. Assembly Registration Certificate/Receipt
f. Valid Labour Certificate
g. Must be a Ghanaian

INVITATION TO TENDERER TO SUPPLY VARIOUS OFFICE STATIONERY AND EQUIPMENT UNDER CONTRACTUAL FRAME WORK AGREEMENT CONTRACT
The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly intends to apply part of its share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) allocations to fund eligible payments under the contracts specified in the table below:

2. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended 2016, Act 914 and the guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
3. A complete set of tender documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible tenderers from the address below upon submission of a written letter and payment of non-refundable fee of two hundred Ghana Cedis (GH? 200.00) during working hours i.e. from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting from 25th June, 2018 to 9th July, 2018.
4. All completed bids shall be accompanied with-Tender Security of 2% of Contract price from recognized Financial Institutions as well as the following:
a. Valid Company Registration Certificate
b. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
c. Valid Vat Registration
d. Assembly Registration Certificate/Receipt
5. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be signed, sealed and delivered to the address indicated below on or before 9th July, 2018 at 10: 00 a.m.
6. Tenders will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on 9th July, 2018 in the presence of Tenderers/Representatives who choose to be present.

1. All eligible Suppliers, Contractors and Consultants are also invited to register in the Assembly's Supplier, Contractors and Consultants Database.
2. Database registration forms can be obtained at the Procurement Unit of the Assembly, Akropong in the Eastern Region at a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH? 200.00).
